The Peace Officer Standards and Training Council improves law enforcement in the state by identifying qualified, professionally trained, ethical and competent peace officers and criminal justice professionals.

Possibly. If you have actively worked in law enforcement at some point during the past three years, you may be eligible to exempt portions of the Georgia Basic Law Enforcement Training Course. If you meet this requirement, begin work on your application.
