Atlanta Public Schools Pre-K Registration

If you live in Atlanta and your child will be 4 years old on or before September 4, you should consider enrolling your son or daughter in the free, full-day pre-kindergarten program offered through Atlanta Public Schools.

Because slots in the program are limited, you'll register in a lottery style drawing. The remaining registration dates are:

• Saturday, June 9, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  Kennedy Middle School

• Wednesday, June 13, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  Kennedy Middle School

In order to register, you must bring your child’s birth certificate, Social Security card, and a proof of residence for the family. A deed, lease, rental agreement, or notarized affidavit plus a current utility bill will satisfy the proof of residence.

If your child earns a spot in the program, you'll be notified by mail after the Wednesday, June 20 drawing.
