Stuck in traffic? Planning a trip? You can now receive live traffic updates from the Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) through Twitter by simply following @NaviGAtor511.

The tweets come from the Georgia NaviGAtor service, provided by the DOT’s Intelligent Transportation System. Their monitoring systems are updated every few minutes, so you always get the latest information.

You can also receive traffic information through the familiar 511 service and via real-time traffic maps on the Georgia NaviGAtor website.
