Thousands of voters turned out to the polls for yesterday's general primary runoff.

Preliminary election results show U.S. Congressional District 2 Republican John House and District 9 Republican Doug Collins winning their party's races, each candidate holding close to 55 percent of their district vote. In U.S. Congressional District 12, though, neither candidate claims a clear lead. Republicans Rick Allen and Lee Anderson have nearly split the district, Anderson leading by only half a percent, a slim 154 votes.

Voters can review statewide results and county results throughout the coming weeks. The Secretary of State's Elections Division will certify results after August 31, the deadline for military and overseas voters to return ballots.
