Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency Launches New Website
Focused on helping workers with disabilities find jobs and grow more independent, the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency last week launched its new website. Formed just last year, GVRA offers counseling services, professional development classes and physical therapy for workers in need.
The streamlined website details each of the agency's six rehabilitation programs:
- Business Enterprise Program
Helps employ workers who are blind
- Cave Spring Rehabilitation Center
Provides professional counseling for workers with disabilities
- Disability Adjudication Services
Works with the Social Security Administration to evaluate disability claims
- Georgia Industries for the Blind
Helps workers who are blind settle into career paths
- Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation
Offers physical therapy and job skills training
- Vocational Rehabilitation
Prepares workers with disabilities to enter or return to the workplace
