Sales Tax Holiday This Weekend

August 5, 2013
The North Georgia Premium Outlets where people can go shopping this weekend for the sales tax holiday

We’re four days away from one of the best shopping weekends in Georgia: On August 9 and 10, select items can be purchased with no sales tax. Many of these items relate to school necessities such as notebooks, paper, thesauruses and thumb drives. However, other useful items go on sale too—such as clothes and shoes.

Some schools might have already started by this weekend, but it might be best to wait a few days in order to stock up on glue and crayons!

For a full list of all the items included and excluded take a look at the Department of Revenue’s Fact Sheet.
