How To Report Tips On Unsolved Crimes
Unsolved crimes are a burden on both the families of victims as well as law enforcement agencies. The longer an investigation drags on, the chances of it being solved plummet to discouraging depths.
While some cases of homicide or missing persons can be solved within a short amount of time, a large backlog of unsolved cases still exist, and the investigations have come to a standstill. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is dedicated to solving crimes and working to prevent further violence.
So, how can you help? First, visit the catalog of GBI Unsolved Cases and see if you have any information related to the cases listed. Then, if you know anything that could help the GBI solve one of these crimes, submit a tip online. Submissions are completely confidential, and could lead to not only a case being solved, but also much needed closure for families.
