On February 5, voters from Coweta and Fayette counties will head back to the polls to elect a new state House representative.
Voters from State House District 21 and Senate Districts 11, 21 & 30, regions that include voters from Cherokee, Decatur, Fulton and Grady counties, among others, head to the polls today to cast ballots for new state representatives.
With the resignations of state senators John Bulloch and Chip Rogers last week, voters from District 11 and District 21 will head back to the polls on January 8 to fill those vacancies. District 21 Representative Sean Jerguson, who is running for his district's now open senate seat, also put in his resignation last week.
Early voting ends this Friday, November 2. To find polling locations near you, log into My Voter Page or visit the poll locator.
Since early voting began last week, more than 500,000 voters have cast ballots either in person or by absentee ballot. To join these early voters, find polling locations near you by logging into My Voter Page or visiting the poll locator.
In these weeks leading up to the general election, military and overseas voters can receive ballots electronically when they log into My Voter Page.
If you'd like to vote in the November 6 General Election, you'll need to register by today. To register, you must be a U.S. citizen and a legal resident of the county you're registering in, and by election day, you must be at least 18 years old. You can register online, fill out and send in a Voter Registration Application, or visit your county voter registration office.
