Governor Deal Announces Georgia CommuteSmart Program
In an effort to reduce state employee commute times, Governor Nathan Deal recently initiated the Georgia CommuteSmart Program. The plan includes four commuter options for agencies and state employees to choose from, allowing for more flexibility in their work travel schedule.
Flags Fly Half-Staff on Patriot Day

Waiver for Summer Gasoline Requirements

Good News for Loggerhead Lovers
After years of protecting loggerhead nests from predators and hatchlings from commercial fishing, wildlife researchers last month reveled in a new finding - nest numbers on Georgia’s beaches are the highest they've been in 20 years. As of July 30, researchers had spotted more than 2,000 nests.
