The State Taxpayer Identification Number (STIN) serves as a reference for your business' tax licenses, liabilities and credits. To apply for a number, submit your State Tax Registration Application (Form CRF-002) and the Responsible Party Information Form (Form CRF-005) either by mail or online at the Georgia Tax Center.
- Before you apply, collect your Social Security number, Federal Employer Identification Number and contact information for all business officers. If you are not a U.S. citizen, you'll use your Individual Tax Identification Number, Social Insurance number or the ID forms used in your country of citizenship.
- If you fill out the paper versions of the registration and responsible party information form, mail both to:
