Share Your Stories About State Parks and Historic Sites

August 31, 2012
The Friends of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites invites video submissions for its annual contest.

Whether you're an avid kayaker or Civil War buff, you likely have stories to share about your experiences in state parks. Aiming to collect many of these stories, the Friends of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites invites you to enter its annual video contest.

Running two minutes or less, your video can explore your favorite outdoors activities, your history knowledge and your love of one - or many - state parks. To start working on your video, read the contest rules and download the release forms. You can also read tips about what will make for a successful submission.

Contest winners will receive various prizes from stuffed adventure packs to a free two-night stay at a state park lodge or cottage. All entries are due Wednesday, September 5.
