Take the Energy Challenge

December 20, 2012
An energy efficient lightbulb glows in a dark room.

Encouraged by the growing movement toward sustainability, all state agencies committed in 2008 to reducing energy consumption in office buildings some 15% by 2020. Born from that state conservation goal, the Georgia Energy Challenge invites businesses and families to join the green effort.

When you sign up to take the challenge, you'll have access to an interactive calculator that identifies affordable ways to save energy and suggests long-term green solutions for your business or home. You can also read about how others have conserved energy and saved money.
