Reading Georgia Law

May 28, 2013
The Georgia State Capitol strikes contrast against a blue sky.

Addressing issues that range from observing safe hunting practices to writing advance directives, the Official Code of Georgia compiles all state law.

When you review the code online, you can either search for keywords or browse more than 50 titles of the law. Selecting the plus button next to each title allows you to expand the section and read its chapters.

If you have questions about particular provisions of the law, you can contact the state agencies involved in enforcing those provisions or seek counsel from an attorney.
