Georgia's Automotive Industry Boom

Georgia contains a workforce of 4.7 million workers, 16 Fortune 500 companies, and 31 Fortune 1000 businesses. That in itself is something to brag about.

[As of May 2017, Georgia hosts 20 Fortune 500 companies, and 33 Fortune 1000 businesses.]

But wait, there’s more.

With 4,700 miles of railway, 118,777 miles of public highways, two deep-water sea ports, and an efficiently busy international airport, industries in Georgia remain at an all-time high. 

Automotive industries in Georgia rank as one of the top industries of the state. With beneficial tax incentives, easy accessibility for cargo transportation, and help from Georgia’s elite workforce training initiative, Quick Start, automotive industries flourish here. Georgia became the home of the first U.S. manufacturing facility for Kia Motor Corporation in West Point. Georgia also contains the headquarters for Porsche, Lotus, and BBS.
