Georgia proves to be serious about being efficient with our resources. Friday, Oct. 4 through Sunday, Oct. 6, Georgia will participate in an energy efficient sales tax holiday.

Select items will be exempt from sales tax if they cost $1,500 or less (per item) and if they have an ENERGY STAR or WaterSense label. The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority provides a list of potential items this sale includes.

The national organizations ENERGY STAR and WaterSense work to ensure best practices to save money, water and the environment.
