January 26, 2016
Register now to vote in the Presidential Primary Elections!

Election Day is over a month away, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't prepare now. In fact, if you haven't registered yet, now is the time!

You can log in to My Voter Page with your name, county and date of birth to check if you are registered, find your poll location and see a sample ballot for the upcoming election.

In Georgia, anyone can participate in early voting without providing a reason. After logging in to My Voter Page, you can also find locations and hours for early voting locations near you.

When you head to the polls, remember to bring a valid photo identification card with you, such as a driver's license, passport or Voter ID card.

Here are a few important dates for the upcoming election:

  • Feb. 1 — last day to register for March Presidential Primary and Special Elections
  • Feb. 8 — advanced voting in Georgia begins
  • March 1 — Election Day

The Secretary of State website provides a comprehensive list of key election dates.
