First Looks at the General Primary Election Results

More than 1.6 million voters sent in advance ballots and headed to the polls for yesterday's general primary, one that saw the defeat of the T-SPLOST and the approval of Sunday liquor sales in select counties.

2012 General Election Runoff Unofficial Results In

After a tally of votes from yesterday's general election runoff, Mike Dugan leads Bill Hembree in the special Republican primary for the state senate seat open in District 30. Currently claiming close to 56 percent of the vote, Dugan will go on to face Libertarian James Camp on January 8.
