How Do I …
Register a Business With Georgia Department of Revenue?

Get Prepared
- Know your business structure. A business structure refers to how your business is organized. Structures include a sole proprietorship, limited liability company, limited partnership, and corporation. Your business’s structure may help determine the type and amount of taxes you will pay. Sole proprietors will have to file their income taxes as an individual but will collect and pay other taxes in the same manner as other businesses.
- Obtain your federal employer identification number (EIN) from the IRS. You cannot proceed without it.
