Food Resources

If you do not currently have access to SNAP benefits, additional food assistance resources may be available through food banks and pantries, community organizations, and child nutrition programs. These resources below can help you find food assistance in your area.

Find Your Local Food Bank

Use Feeding Georgia to find regional food banks and food assistance resources serving your community. Feeding Georgia connects residents with Georgia's network of food banks and partner agencies that provide emergency food assistance.

Food Finder

Food Finder is a free online tool and mobile app that helps individuals and families locate nearby food pantries, meal programs, and other food assistance resources based on their location.

Find Child Nutrition and Summer Meal Programs

Children may qualify for free or reduced-price meals through school nutrition programs during the school year. When school isn't in session, free meals may be available through summer nutrition programs such as Happy Helpings, Georgia's Summer Food Service Program.

Contact your local school district or visit the Georgia Department of Education's School Nutrition Program resources to learn about meal programs available in your area. For the most current information, check your school district's website, social media channels, or contact the district directly.

Georgia Department of Community Affairs

More information on food resources is available on the Department of Community Affair's website.
