American Indian Concerns

The Council on American Indian Concerns helps protect graves and burial objects from accidental and intentional desecration, advises state and local governments, and supports economic development within American Indian communities. Part of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Historic Preservation Division, the Council is the only state entity specifically authorized to address the concerns of Georgia's American Indians.
