To visit an offender in person at a Georgia Department of Corrections facility, you must be on their approved visitation list and schedule an appointment in advance. Normally, visitation occurs on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
An offender can request to add or remove individuals on their approved visitation list. People on the approved visitation list may schedule appointments and visit in person.
When scheduling an appointment, include the name, email address, and relationship to the offender of all visitors, as well as the offender ID (GDC ID) of the person you wish to visit. When you visit the facility, arrive at your scheduled time and follow all visitation rules, including parking, security screening, and dress code.
