2026 Election
Last Day UOCAVA Ballots Will Be Accepted for General Election Runoff
This is the last day UOCAVA absentee ballots will be accepted.
Eligible UOCAVA absentee ballots postmarked by election date and received within three business days after the election will be counted.
If you are an active-duty service member, military family member, or U.S. citizen living abroad, you are protected by the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA). This act ensures you can participate in Georgia's 2026 elections regardless of where you are stationed or living.
Your Voting Options
As a UOCAVA voter, you have flexible options for receiving and returning your ballot:
- You can receive your blank ballot via email or a secure online portal to speed up the process.
- You can choose to have a traditional paper ballot mailed to your overseas or out-of-state address.
- For runoff elections, Georgia provides special instant runoff ballots to UOCAVA voters to ensure your vote counts even if international mail is delayed.
How to Get Started
Use the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to register to vote and request your absentee ballots for the entire 2026 cycle.
You can send your completed FPCA to your County Registrar via email, fax, or mail.
For the General Election on November 3, 2026, your ballot must be postmarked by Election Day and received by your county within three days.
